WLAC 34 athletes competing at Olympic Park over the weekend all put in a fantastic effort. There were many PBs, 40 finalist performances, and we brought home 15 medals, our most for a number of years. A special mention must go to our multiple medalists from the U9 age group; Ella "Bullet" Squires, Kristian Sekulovski and Nela Debicki, and to our walkers who also featured prominently. Very big thank yous go to our Team Managers, Fiona Squires and Tammy Stephens, who once again put in a magnificent effort to make things as easy as possible for everyone. Also to all the parents who fulfilled their duty and were around the venue, cheering on all our big and little champions.
