News - 2009/2010

According to the athletes, there were killer hills amongst the trees at Bellbird Dell … but from where the supportive parents stood, it all looked pretty peaceful!
It was another glorious autumn day for cross-country and all those who participated ran their events with Waverley determination!
I was without my own children, but it was great to see smiles on the faces of all of the other Waverley regulars!
The good news … no lolly wrappers were to be seen on the ground … well done to everyone.

I would like to make a special mention and wish all of those families associated with Waverley cross-country, who have a family member with an injury, illness or other ailment at the moment … a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing you back at cross-country as soon as possible.
