It was good to see some athletes back after sickness had swept through the family.  Got to love the flu season!!!

Jells Park is a close and convenient venue for most of us but my word it was chilly.  Well done to all of our athletes who braved the cold conditions and raced around Jells Park.  It is a great venue for supporters.  It is relatively easy to view the races from a variety of angles at Jells Park and this makes cheering our athletes on easier.

I was thrilled to see our Under 11 and 12 boys cheering on the older runners in the 3km race.  Great to see that team spirit alive and strong!

Thanks also to Tammy, our president, for turning up and offering her support. Tammy is currently working extremely hard behind the scenes ensuring that the next summer athletics season runs smoothly … meetings, policies, administration and more … so we thank you for your time.
