Congratulations to all of the teams that represented Waverley on Sunday.  You all did an awesome job and we had some great success too

We finished the day with 3 medals and another 4 finalists from the 16 teams that qualified.  Not one team dropped a baton and from a Team Managers viewpoint we had a "quiet day free of protests or issues" ..... thankfully after a disasterous Regions meeting four weeks earlier !!!  A huge thankyou to Team Managers Fiona Squires, Tammy Stephens and Silvana Sekulovski who kept us all in order and on time for our events ... and the parents who fullfilled duty at Presentations.

Our new State Champions are:

9-12 Girls Medley - Ellie Sanford , Natasha Bannon , Ella Squires & our newest member of the "Dream Team" Ellie Masters (1st State Medal) ..... with a little help from "coach Lindsay" & Craig Sanford !

u10 Mixed 4 x 100 - William Arrow (1st State Medal) , Kristian Sekulovski , Ella Squires & Nela Debicki ....... proudly coached by Rory Arrow

SILVER Medal to the u13 Mixed 4 x 100 - Ebony Sturgess , Jordan Warren , Nicholas Thomas & Emma Smith (1st State Medals for both Nicholas & Emma) ....... and coached by Estelle Lopes & Dylan Cooper.

A big well done to the u10g 4 x 100 , 9-12b Medley , 13-15b Medley & u13g Medley who all placed 6th in the finals !
