Congratulations to all the athletes that made the "trek" to Ballarat to proudly represent Waverley at the State Championships on Sunday.  We hope that you achieved your goals and enjoyed the excitement of the day and put in your very best efforts.

A big thankyou to Team Manager Lindsay Thomas & Assistant Sonia O'Sullivan - and all of the parents who help make the day a most enjoyable one for all !

Special congrats go to our new u14 boys State Champion ..... Nicholas Thomas !  Also sharing the same podium was Patrick Ziguras who finished a close 3rd for the Bronze medal.  And to top off a very successful campaign for the boys, Mukund Premkumar combined with Patrick and Nick to win the team GOLD Medal .  The Premkumar family had a great day with young Vaidehi finishing 7th in the u8 girls invitation 1100m race ..... very proud parents I'm sure !
