News - 2012/2013

Thank you to all the Parents who volunteer as Key Officials and who signed up to do duty on Saturday.

The program ran well, although we did run overtime through out the day. We thank the parents for your support as there is always going to be some bumps to smooth out when we run each program for the first time!

Next Saturday is Program 3, the first of the 400's & Walks. The "theme" for next weekend is Grandparents Day... So kids, bring along your Grandparents (and Great Grandparents, if you have any) and show off your Little Athletics Centre to them!

We are still looking for a few people to take on Key Official roles. Early Set Up, Starting, Walks Judge & Long Jump 1 Manager are needed. We also need a few parents who are interested in learning how to manage Shot Put & Discus so we can run an extra event if needed (i.e Discus 3 for the larger groups).

As an aside, well done to the following who competed at the first round of Seniors on Saturday afternoon; Janita & Moana Kareta, Ella Squires and Myself!!!

We're still looking for Relay Coaches too, so please email me if you are interested. Otherwise, we can't enter any teams :(
