News - 2014/2015

Dear Parents from 2013/14 Season,

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Karen Green and I’m the Registrar at Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc. With the summer season fast approaching, now is the time to start thinking about re-registering your children or registering new children on the program. Remember new participants need to have turned five before commencing.

Registrations:
Registrations for the 2014/2015 season is accepted ONLINE from now on via the Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc. website.  Existing athletes (with a valid email address on record) should have received an email from LAVic that will include their username, password and steps to register online. Anyone who doesn’t know the username or password please send me an email.

Pre-Season Registration Day:
Saturday 20th September 2014 - 10am until 12 noon.  Registration Day will be held at the Central Reserve Clubroom, Glen Waverley.  You may pick up your registration packs, registration patch, booklet and purchase uniforms on this day. Computer access will be available for those who need assistance with registrations.

Tell your friends:
If you have any friends who are interested in little Athletics, please invite them to attend one come and try session prior to being officially registered (excludes previous come and try athletes). Below is some information to make the registration process an easy one for you. More information can be found at www.wlac34.org

Payment / Fees:
Membership fee payments will be accepted online via the registration portal (by visa or MasterCard)

2014/15 Fee Structure:
Early Bird Membership Fees (Fees cover Summer & Winter):
$140 for the first child, minus $10 each subsequent child.
(Registrations MUST be received & paid for by 10:00pm 1st October 2014 to receive the early bird rates)

Regular Membership Fees (Fees cover Summer & Winter):
$150 for the first child, minus $10 each subsequent child.
(Registrations MUST be received & paid for between 2nd October 2014 and 11:59pm 31st December 2014)

Post-Christmas Membership Fees (Fees cover Summer & Winter):
$100 for each child.
(Registrations MUST be received & paid for between 1st January 2015 and 11:59pm 31st March 2015)

Cross Country Membership Fees (Fees cover Winter only):
$80 each child.
(Registrations MUST be received & paid for between 1st April 2015 and August 2015)

Please Read (Very Important):
The membership fee comprises of a compulsory LAVic fee ($61.52) and a Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc. fee making up the balance.  The LAVic fee of $61.52 is non-refundable.  The Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc. fee component may only be refunded under extraordinary circumstances (and only after being approved by the committee).

The 2014/15 Season commences Saturday 5th October.
