Past Waverley Little Athlete, Hayden Butler (pictured below left), 20, passed away suddenly over the Australia Day weekend.

Hayden, a Sprinter, was a member from 2004-2008 (U11-U14) and participated in numerous Mentone, Region & State Relay teams. He also competed individually at Region and State Track & Field.

Upon finishing Little Athletics, Hayden took up Rugby. A good player with lots of potential, a "rising star", he was a Melbourne Storm junior (U20's) who was recently recruited by and signed with the Mackay Cutters in Queensland.

We send our condolences to Hayden's family and friends during this difficult time.
