Our last program for the year was greeted by a beautiful sunny day. The Christmas Gift handicap race was the highlight of today. It was good to see that most of the heats had close finishes. Ken Knight is to be congratulated in calculating all the handicap distances. This race gives all children a chance to get into first place. The winner is usually someone who performs well relative to their personal best. Don't forget we will be starting again next year on the 20th of January (not the 13th as in the yellow book). Best wishes for Christmas and the new year - maybe you will get a new pair of runners for Christmas (better than a scooter)!
