Program 1 was held today. All events seemed to run smoothly and we were able to complete the program pretty well on time, thanks to all the parent helpers. One record was broken - boys U13, 80m hurdles, by Richard Knight, in a time of 13.81 sec. Beating the old record of 14 seconds.
Congratulations to all of our athletes that ran at last Sunday's SMR relays competition. Waverley managed to beat all the other teams in winning the Fred Roffey Memorial Trophy, with a score of 6750 points, the second team was Frankston with 6657 points.
Next week (1/12/01) Leopards and Panthers parents will be on duty.
