Waverley children will be out in force on Saturday when the Little Athletics program begins at the Central Reserve at 9 a.m.

Children between seven and 12 years will compete in track and field events. 

On the program are sprints, middle distance races, walking races, long jumping, high jumping and triple jumping special lightweight shot put and discus. 

Little athletics gives children, boys and girls, healthy (and cheap) fun. Costs are 60 cents initial registration then only 10 cents each week. 

Parents can enrol children at the reserve on Saturday.
