Christine Billingham, co-founder of Little Athletics, the wife of the late Trevor Billingham, Founder of Little Athletics, passed away on Wednesday 2nd April 2015.

Her funeral was held on Friday 10th April in Geelong, to celebrate her wonderful life. I attended, representing the Waverley Little Athletics Centre, along with other representatives of LAVic, LAA and the Geelong and Corio Centres.

Christine was involved in many community groups, such as the CWA. She was group President in Geelong most recently. But she was instrumental in the development of Little Athletics. "Christine was the do-er, while Trevor was the dreamer" - is how the family put it. Christine ran the VLAA office from their backyard in the early days.
