News - 2016/2017

Held on Sat 25th June at Seawinds, Arthurs Seat.  A wet, MUDDY and slippery course but thankfully no rain, hail or snow (except at pack up time). 

A big High 5 for all our athletes that competed: 

Leo Muser who ran 1000m in the U6 – U8 fun run. 
Luke Cooke , 9th in U9 1500 m run. 
A great effort by Nichola Muser, 5th in U10 1500m. 
Great success by our U11 boys, Bradley Fudyma and Liam O’Rourke, coming 2nd and 4th respectively for a 2000m run. 
And finally our U14 girls team of Sophie O’Sullivan, Isabella Griffin and Phoebe Cotton came 2nd, with individual results of 1st, 5th and 8th over a 3000m course.  Congratulations girls. 

A very big thank you to our parent helpers: 
Jo Hall for being team manger and early set up; Michelle O’Rourke for pack up; Frank Muser, Dean Griffin and Darren Cotton for car park duty and myself for being juror and car park duty. 
These athletes are all now eligible to compete at the State Cross Country Championships, July 23rd at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin.
