Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc.

We had a great day at the Sandown relays on Saturday. We only had two teams competing, but that didn't hamper our big Waverley team spirit!

The boys u11 came 11th in their 3x2km relay with Reamonn Jansen, 7.22; Alexander Kourkouridis 8.39; Luke Cooke, 8.34;

Our girls u9 came 10th of 19 in their 3x 1.5km relay with Aislinn Jansen, 5.45; Gaby Klinkert, 7.10; Jaslene Ong , 6.48; Aislinn had the joint fastest time in her age group, so she was very happy.

The kids all seemed to enjoy the thrill of racing in such a big event, and despite some early nerves, all performed really well.
