News - 2017/2018
Hello All,
Welcome to Week 3 of Little Aths.
We had a fantastic meeting last Saturday and thankfully the rain held off enough to allow us to finish the program.
This week we will be running Program 3 which is our Walks program, please see the program attachment.
1. Relay coaching will be held next Monday 30th Oct, 4.30 pm with Simone – great for U9 and above to learn how to change the batons.
2. Relays: Sunday 12th November – Mentone LAC Relay Open Day U8 – U15; Saturday 25th November – SMR Region relays U9 – U15; Saturday 16th Dec – LAVic State Relays for those teams and athletes that qualified from the region championships. See Age Group Leaders, Centre mentor – Merryn Ashcroft or a member of the committee if you wish to participate. We need a Relay Team Manager.
3. Anybody interested in being a starter, please see Glenn, one of our starters at the beginning of the program. He will be wearing an orange Jetstar top and cap !! You can spend time with him to learn about how to start and even have a go yourself, using our electronic starting system.
4. This week we are calling on U6 parents to help with setup at 7:45am. I'm looking for 5 to 10 helpers please.
This weeks parent duty roster was emailed around on Tuesday night. Please click on the link and signup to a duty each week by Thursday night. The link is renewed and unique for each week. Your help is appreciated, and needed to run the program.
Thank-you.
5. Could 1 or 2 parents please make themselves available to help our Registrar, Neetasha Dobson in the pavilion between 8:30 and 9:30 to ease some of the congestion with handing out name patches.
6. The new COLES badges have arrived, to replace the Jetstar ones on our uniforms, and will be distributed on Saturday. If any girl wants a smaller one for the crop tops to see Katy at uniforms.
7. Katy will be selling uniforms only before and after competition this week due to Walks judging, please arrange your purchasing accordingly.
Hopefully we've covered everything off.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning bright and early.
Cheers,
Denis
