A huge congratulations to our Secretary and Life Member Katy Smith, for winning the second Little Athletics Australia #LittleAthsCommunityHero award!

Katy was nominated for her tremendous effort throughout the 2019/20 season. 

It was a difficult decision as there were so many great entries but we are pleased to announce that our second #LittleAthsCommunityHero is Katy Smith! 

Katy holds many different roles at Waverley Little Athletics Centre Inc.

Secretary & Results Manager (dual Committee roles), day-to-day running of the centre, administration manager, uniform manager, canteen manager, championship team manager, marketing, walk judge, relay coach, relay organiser, school bookings manager and venue host, region and association delegate, early set up crew and more. 

Katy enjoys being involved and doing all she can, for the children. She’s the backbone of Waverley and was awarded Life Membership in 2020.
