News - 2020/2021

Good morning to all our fantastic WLAC families,

Please see the attached program for this week. Hopefully the rain is
gone and we can get a program this week.  This week the Under 10 and 11
parents are on setup duty from 8am, it's a pretty easy setup this week
as we don't need the timing gates.

Relaython morning – how many laps can we run with a baton over the
course of the program. Each age group will get a go.  Raffle tickets
being sold to raise money for the RCH Good Friday Appeal. Great prizes
from rebel sport using credits earned.  We will need someone to help
sell raffle
tickets for the next two or three weeks. $2 ea or 3 for $5.

New LAVic State Sponsor: Commonwealth Bank. Age group leaders will have
stickers to give out to put over the Subway logo on the patches.

Southern Metro Region Track & Field Carnival – remember to register by
11.59 am lunchtime Friday 5th Feb. No late entries.

Please remember parents, you need to stay for the whole program, as you
agreed to when registering your child.

Next week we will be running a twilight meeting on Thursday 11th Feb due
to the Region T&F on the weekend.

Masks now required to be worn indoors/in athletics pavilion.

Please remember, in light of the current outbreak Families should NOT
attend WLAC if :

     * feeling unwell,
     * awaiting a COVID19 Test Result,
     * have attended venues listed on the Department of Health's website
when a person with a positive result has been present,
     * have been in contact with a person awaiting a test result or asked
to
isolate,
     * have been asked to home quarantine after returning from travel to
NSW.

As a community, we work with Health Authorities to limit the
transmission of COVID 19 and keep our families well.
