News - 2020/2021

Good morning to all our magnificent WLAC families,

Looking good weather wise for the twilight this week.

Please see the attached program – with the javelin at the end for U11,
U12
and SS, it is not compulsory but it is a great chance to do javelin
using the
new runway.

There is throws coaching from 4.30 – 5.30 pm, and set up is from 5 pm
then
warm up at 6.00 pm and events start at 6.15 pm.

This week the Under 12 and Southern Star parents are on setup from 5pm.

We will need a first aider as well, so anyone with correct
qualifications could volunteer and will be greatly appreciated

The plan is also to put on a BBQ as well as the coffee van wont be
attending.

Raffle tickets for the RCH Relaython will still be on sale.

Masks now required to be worn indoors/in athletics pavilion.

Please remember, in light of the current outbreak Families should NOT
attend WLAC if :

     * feeling unwell,
     * awaiting a COVID19 Test Result,
     * have attended venues listed on the Department of Health's website
when a person with a positive result has been present,
     * have been in contact with a person awaiting a test result or asked
to
isolate,
     * have been asked to home quarantine after returning from travel to
NSW.

As a community, we work with Health Authorities to limit the
transmission of COVID 19 and keep our families well.

after use, wear masks (12 yrs
+) inside pavilion.

Please put sunscreen on at home before arriving.

There are also 33 athletes registered for Region T & F this coming
weekend at Duncan
McKinnon track, Murrumbeena. Good luck to all those registered
