Update on LAVic State Relays Championships and REMINDER about our final 'WLAC' Relay Teams Training Session #4 - NEXT Wednesday (24/3/2021) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm @ Central Reserve.....

Good Evening 'WLAC' Relay Families,
Thank-you to all of our relay runners who attended our penultimate relays training session at Central Reserve this afternoon, your baton changes and form on track looked absolutely superb in the sushine! 
Thank-you again to Angela and Holly for running this special relays session with our little athletes....and thanks also to all of our Age Group Relay Coordinators and parents/guardians who helped out with some timely tips and encouragement for getting the baton safely around the track in preparation for next weekend's LAVic State Relays Championships!
 
Speaking of the State Relays Championships.....LAVic have today released a DRAFT Timetable for events on both the Saturday and Sunday of the championships.....They have also confirmed that the immediate families (parents/guardians/siblings) of our Little Athletes are the only spectators allowed inside the athletics venue at Casey Fields, in accordance with their approved COVIDsafe plan for next weekend. You will also see below that they are running all events for each age group separately, prior to moving onto the next age group level. This means that families are asked to arrive at certain times at the venue, then depart by the designated times listed below to enable the next age group of little athletes and families to enter the venue and keep numbers below COVIDsafe levels.
 
 
Here are the DRAFT Event Timetables for both Saturday and Sunday next weekend - 
DRAFT Timetable Structure - SATURDAY the 27th of March, 2021 - Age group blocks U9-U12. 

U9: Entry time, from 8.00am, Exit 11.10am. Event times, MS 9.15am – 10.00am, Boys 10.00am – 10.30am, Girls 10.30am – 11.00am 

U10: Entry time, 11.10am, Exit 1.45pm Event times, MS 11.55am-12.35pm, Boys 12.35pm-1.00pm, Girls 1.00pm – 1.35pm 

U11: Entry time, 1.45pm, Exit 4.30pm Event times, MS 2.30pm-3.15pm, Boys 3.15pm – 3.45pm, Girls 3.45pm – 4.20pm 
U12: Entry time, 4.30pm Event times, MS 5.15pm – 6.00pm, Boys 6.00pm – 6.30pm, Girls 6.30pm – 7.00pm. 

DRAFT Timetable Structure - SUNDAY the 28th of March, 2021 - Age group blocks U13-U16.  

U13: Entry times, from 8.30am, Exit 11.25am Event times, MS 10.00am – 10.30am, Boys 10.30am – 10.50am, Girls 10.50am – 11.15am 

U14 & Multi-Class: Entry times, from 11.25am, Exit 1.45pmEvent times, MS 12.10pm – 12.40pm, Boys 12.40pm – 1.00pm, Girls 1.00pm – 1.35pm 

U15 & U16: Entry times, from 1.45pm Event times, MS 2.30pm – 3.15pm, Boys 3.15pm – 3.40pm, Girls 3.40pm – 4.00pm.

PLEASE ALSO SEE THE ATTACHED EXCEL SPREADSHEET FOR THE 'DRAFT' WLAC RELAY TEAM REGISTRATIONS THAT WE ENTERED IN WITH LAVic......PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE STILL WAITING ON LAVic TO APPROVE AND CONFIRM ALL OF THESE RELAY TEAM REGISTRATIONS......T.B.C. ASAP.....HOPEFULLY!

See you all at our final State Relays Team Training session next Wednesday (24/3/2021) from 5pm to 6pm at Central Reserve......but before then, we are also likely to cross paths at our final 'WLAC' Little Athletics program for the season this Saturday morning, then the AGM and free BBQ, followed by our 'WLAC' Dinner and Presentation Night this Saturday evening.....The full on festival of track and field continues!!!!  Can't believe I'm saying this, but.....Bring on the cross-country season......
