Good Evening 'WLAC' State Relays Families,

Another great training session for our 'WLAC' Relay Teams in chilly conditions this afternoon! All of our runners are looking quick and it is so good to see how much their baton changes and leading/calling has improved, you should all be very proud of your Little Athletes who are doing an amazing job and are certain to represent themselves, their families and our centre with great pride this weekend at the LAVic State Relays Championships.......

Please find attached to this email the following 'updated' and 'important' information in relation to the LAVic State Relays Championships - 

1.) Parent Roster for our Centre Duties at the LAVic State Relays Championships. Please check this attached document carefully to see what time your family has been rostered on for duty (please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your duty, so you can swap over with the previous duty parent and they can show you what you need to do) and also ensure that you speak with Katy on Saturday to see where your duty is stationed and what you have to do.

2.) Casey Fields Athletics Track Venue Map. Katy will be setting up our team tents near entrance two, just near the First Aid, with a prime view of the Start / Finish line. Thanks to Katy for transporting our tents out to Casey Fields on Saturday morning and setting them up from 8am. If there are any early birds who would like to give Katy a hand setting up our 'WLAC' Tent City from 8am on Saturday morning, it would be greatly appreciated.

3.) Updated Timetables for both Saturday and Sunday of the LAVic State Relays Championships. Please see new times for marshaling and events in the attached timetables. We are still waiting on LAVic to send us through the finalised athlete summary with the timed final no. / lane no. and call room time for our teams. As soon as this information is sent through to Katy and I, we will pass it onto all of our 'WLAC' Relay Families.

4.) Updated 'WLAC' Relay Teams for LAVic State Relays Championships. Please note that we have had some last minute changes to our Relay Team in the U13 Boys 4x100m event - Massive thank-you to Michael Skantzos and his Mum Jo for confirming that Michael can run on Sunday at such short notice, we really appreciate you doing this for our centre Michael and Jo!  

5.) UPDATE on U10 Mixed 4x100m Relay Team #2 - We are still waiting to see if any other Little Aths Centres in the SMR have an U10 Girl who is able to run in this event with Ruby, Alexander and Jack. Katy has again reached out to all of the SMR LAC's to see if they have any available runners who can fill this fourth and final spot in our Mixed team. This team is still registered for their event on Saturday, as we will wait and see if another girl is available to run with our 'WLAC' little athletes up until this date. We have up until 60 minutes before the event to scratch our team if we are unable to find another runner, but we will keep all of our parents/guardians in this age group posted on any developments. Fingers crossed another centre can help us out here.....
